Azraa Rawoot
Azraa brings broad international experience to our team through her experience working alongside varied consultants on complex projects, from master planning projects across the UK, to local prototype affordable housing projects in the informal settlements of Cape Town and metropolitan scale landscape parks in China. During her time at architecture-led practice Maccreanor Lavington, Azraa was part of the core urban design team behind one of the largest regeneration projects in Dublin. The project, City Edge, was shortlisted for the Irish Planning Awards as well as a Pineapple Award at the Festival of Place. It is an innovative approach to mixed-use development that is strategically positioned to become an attractive urban extension of the city, where people will be able to live, work, and socialise with 40,000 new homes and 70,000 new jobs within a 700-hectare study area. Azraa has a strong commitment to designing thriving places and cities that prioritize social well-being and environmental sustainability to enhance the overall quality of life in urban areas and public spaces.
